The work your firm wants to scale, without silent writes.
Numbers Game connects Claude or ChatGPT to the QuickBooks Online and Xero client books your firm manages. Your team investigates, prepares and reviews the work across all of them from one conversation, and nothing reaches the books until a person approves it.
What this means for your firm.
Numbers Game runs categorization, reconciliation, close, reporting and review work across connected QuickBooks Online and Xero client books, with every proposed write held for human approval.
Each one, in detail.
Every capability has its own page with the controls, the limits, and the questions firms ask first.
Bank feed
Per-connection autonomy starting at propose-only, a firm-set confidence bar, confidence computed outside the model, and structural holds that never lift.
Multi-entity reporting
Parent and subsidiary companies rolled into one reporting view. Combined rather than consolidated, and the page is direct about what that means.
Firm instructions and SOPs
Roughly three dozen readable SOPs, plus your own instruction section that takes precedence over ours, versioned and reversible.
Client reporting
Branded P&L, balance sheet and cash flow from the live ledger, in your firm’s voice, with the storage rules stated precisely.
vs QuickBooks’ built-in AI
QuickBooks helps inside one company file while you are in it. This runs the same work across every client, in parallel, without opening QuickBooks.
What’s new
Dated product updates, linking back to the capability each one changed.
Three decisions that shape everything above.
Nothing writes until a person approves it
Every categorization, journal entry and reconciliation is proposed with its net debits and credits shown, and waits. The accountant is still in the chair. The work simply stops taking all week.
The model is yours, not ours
Numbers Game runs no inference. There is no Numbers Game model and no AI provider between your firm and your clients’ data. You bring your own Claude or ChatGPT account, so there is no second usage bill and no vendor accumulating a corpus of your clients’ financials.
Access is scoped, logged and revocable
OAuth only, so we never receive a QuickBooks credential. Each authorized AI client is restricted to the companies you name, checked on every call. Revocation takes effect in about thirty seconds, and every tool call lands in an audit log your firm reads itself.
There is also a list of things the platform structurally cannot do, and that list is a feature: it cannot permanently delete QuickBooks records, cannot change Intuit account settings, cannot initiate payments or ACH, and does not touch payroll filings. Tool-level exclusions, not policy promises. The security page has the rest.
The details firms ask first.
Does Numbers Game post to QuickBooks automatically?
No. It prepares work and proposed writes for review, and your team decides what reaches QuickBooks. That is true of every capability, including the bank feed, where a new connection starts at propose-only and posts nothing at all.
Does it work across multiple client files?
Yes, that is the point of it. One connection reaches every QuickBooks Online company your firm has connected, and a request can run across all of them rather than one file at a time.
Do we need our own AI subscription?
Yes, and that is deliberate. You bring your own Claude or ChatGPT account, which keeps inference costs out of our pricing, keeps your client data from passing through a model vendor we chose on your behalf, and means you inherit every capability your AI vendor ships without waiting for our roadmap.
What can it not do?
It cannot permanently delete QuickBooks records, only void or mark inactive. It cannot change Intuit account settings, initiate payments or ACH, or touch payroll filings. There is also no currency conversion anywhere in the product.
Bring a real client workflow. See what changes.
