Do I work inside Claude, or in the Numbers Game app?
Claude is where you and your team work day to day. The Numbers Game portal is only for one-time setup and admin: connecting QuickBooks companies and managing who can access them. Once a client is set up, a normal user never needs to open the portal.
What data does Numbers Game store?
Only your connections and your users, plus a log of the actions taken. Your QuickBooks transaction data is never stored in Numbers Game. The connector reads from QuickBooks on request, hands the data to your model, and the numbers stay in QuickBooks as the system of record.
Does Numbers Game cost extra per token?
No. Numbers Game runs on your own Claude or ChatGPT plan, so you use the tokens already in your subscription. There is no separate per-token or usage bill from us.
Do I have to use Claude?
Claude is what most firms use and what Numbers Game is built around, but it also works with ChatGPT. You are not locked into a single model, so you can move if the models change.

How do I set it up for a lot of clients?
One project per client in Claude. On a Claude Teams or organization plan, one admin sets up every project and connection once and shares them with the team, so nobody repeats the work. Per-client rules, close instructions, and vendor mappings live in a file you generate in the Numbers Game portal and drop into the project.
Can I manage my own clients and team access?
Yes. You add or remove QuickBooks connections and control who on your team can access each one, yourself, from the portal. You are not waiting on us to onboard or offboard a client.
Does anything post to QuickBooks without my approval?
By default, no. Every write is proposed first, with the details for you to review, and nothing posts until you approve it.
Can I connect my bank feeds directly?
No, and no tool can: QuickBooks bank feeds have no open API, so they cannot be piped into an AI model. Two workarounds work well: save statements to a connected cloud folder (Box, Dropbox, SharePoint) for the model to read, or set QuickBooks bank rules to post to Uncategorized and have Numbers Game reclassify them from there.
